Martina Costa Bignotti
She is an Italian/Brazilian communication designer and researcher currently based in Eindhoven (NL), where she is completing the final year of the MA in Information Design at Design Academy Eindhoven. Her practice moves fluidly between client-driven design and independent, research-led projects, always rooted in strong editorial thinking and a deep interest in how information is shaped, framed, and shared.

She has collaborated with studios such as Calamita Studio (IT) and Studio Blanco (IT), refining her skills in editorial design and visual identity systems. She particularly enjoys working across mediums: from layout and typography to visual storytelling and mapping, crafting visual languages that clarify complexity and bring ideas to life.

Her work often explores layered issues such as climate change, territorial identities, media mis/disinformation, and socio-political tensions. Through hybrid approaches that blend digital and analog tools, she creates visual frameworks to investigate, map, and communicate these subjects, making them tangible and accessible.

Whether she’s developing a brand narrative for a client or designing a speculative atlas, she sees design as both a practical tool and a space for inquiry. Always curious and eager to expand her practice, she welcomes new collaborations and conversations, feel free to reach out via Email, Instagram or Linkedin :)
